What a weekend God gave us! There is no way we could have planned for what God would do in our lives. We are so blessed! While coming home I have been going over the talks in my head. Not only were our students challenged to live an authentic prayer life, but us leaders were as well. I keep finding myself lifting up breath prayers throughout the day. I keep reminding myself to be genuine before God with my feelings, thoughts and actions throughout the day. It was refreshing to be reminded that He cares so dearly for us; He desires to know everything in our lives, even the boring mundane stuff (like this cup of coffee I’m sipping).
We hope that you have had great conversations with your child(ren). I pray that you have been encouraged by what God is doing in and through their lives. In case you haven’t seen it, below is the Big Chill 2014 highlight video. Below that are the links to all the other silly videos we did over the weekend. We are so excited to see how God continues to rend our hearts toward Him as we give ourselves fully to Him in prayer.

Parents! We had such an amazing time at Big Chill 2014! God has taught us so much about what it means to pray and be genuine while we pray. We have also learned so much about being genuine in our relationships with one another.
Just so you know, we just left camp and estimate to be at the church close to 4:30pm. See you soon! I will ask students to call/text when we get within 20-30 mins.
As many of you know, Big Chill is happening next weekend!! I can feel the craziness already stirring in the hearts of the students and leaders! To adequately prepare for all things “Big Chill,” there are a few things you will need to know. First, you need to know your team’s color so you can dress in the appropriate colors Saturday afternoon. You can see where you are assigned below. Remember the crazier the outfit the better!
Secondly, you need to remember what to bring and what NOT to bring! We have a wonderful list of everything that will help you experience Big Chill at its finest! You can click here for that treasured goodness. See you all at 3:59pm on Friday afternoon!

Say goodbye to that snowy cabin fever! Tonight we are meeting upstairs in the Rafters at 6:30pm. This will be for all 6-12th graders. We will do a little twist to our normal evening worship. We will have our usual game and such but we will do a twist to our morning discussion groups. Hope to see you all there, drive safely!!
In case you didn’t know, church has been cancelled in the morning due to the coming winter storm. Enjoy the rest and take a moment to dive into God’s word. If you don’t know what to read, read the book of Titus!
Stay safe and enjoy the sledding.
Relationships are a vital part of our everyday lives. Without relationships we would be nothing but cheese puff coach potatoes with bloodshot eyes watching our 20th Lord of the Rings marathon. Relationships are challenging, encouraging, fun, trying and even laborious at times. One thing we can all agree on though is that they are necessary and worth the work they take.
This Sunday we are kicking off a new series called “Relationship Status”. We will be spending the month of January looking at a variety of different relationships: our friends, family and online relationships. During the month of February we will dive into what a biblical and Godly dating and marriage life looks like.
We hope that you will be able to take full advantage of discussion during our circle groups on Sunday morning at 11am and hearing from our speakers on Sunday and Wednesday Evenings at 6:30pm.
