This past weekend we took our Middle School students up to North City for our annual mission trip. The students spent time at New City Fellowship where they learned about the history of racial tension in St. Louis. They were able to serve elderly folks in a nursing home as well as help a widow move out of her house. Our students also had a great opportunity to see many parts of St. Louis that have been forgotten and run down due to racial prejudice. It was wonderful to serve alongside the students and see them jump in with serving those in need.
